Sanniangwan Bay boasts convenient transportation. It has fertile land and abundant products. It faces Beihai City across the sea toe the east, neighbors with Beibu Gulf to the south, adjoins with Qinzhou Port to the west. The oysters, prawns, blue crabs and Garoupaes are the four famous seafood selling to Guangdong Province, Zhejiang Province, Hong Kong and Macao. It’s a very nice place for touring, fishing, archaeological studying.

The people of Sanniangwan Bay are very hardworking people. From history they came from outside world and lived here, worked here, built houses here and created cultivation here. They even played their very important role during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, the Fighting of Liberating Hainan Island.

There are 360 households with 1657 people living in the village of Sanniangwan Bay. Thanks to the reform and opening policy, this village developed very quickly. Actually it is a small fishing village. Nowadays, it owns 130 big or small sailing boats with 1800 kilowatts of general horsepower. The social general output value reaches about 18 million yuan, about 3400yuan per person. Till the end of March this year, more than 200 households have built new cement or brick new houses with about 80000 square meters of built-up area, have bought a great amount of electrical household appliances and facilities for transport and communication.
