Why do the bay get the name as Sanniangwan Bay? There are different stories, but all connecting with the magic stone. Legend has it that Sanniangwan was a fairy lady live high above on the sky. She heard about there was an minority uprising against the Han people in Han Dynasty. People suffered a lot from it. So she came down to the earth and help General Ma Yuan to suppress the uprising. After that, she love the simple life on earth and stayed at the beautiful Sanniangwan Bay and became wife of a handsome and brave fisherman here. At last, she transformed to the magic stone to protect boats on the sea after the fighting with demons in the sea.
From this story, we can understand why the fisherman respect the stone so much and their best wishes for healthy, happy life.


· Fubo Temple
It is at Fengtoutan Beach of Sanniangwan Bay tourism scenic areas , southern of Wuleiling Mountain, and to commemorate famous Mayuan of the Eastern Han Dynasty . Now there are 2,000 years of history。The temple is a yellow tile and red brick built，covering 1,600 square metres, construction area of 600 square metres, doors in the half-an oval, the temple has a Mayuan sculpture and other 44 sculptures，how spectacular.
